Internationally acclaimed New Zealand violinist Amalia Hall presents a concert in the beautiful acoustics of the St. John the Baptist Church, Te Waimate Mission, Waimate North.

Since making her debut at the age of 9 with the Auckland Philharmonia, Amalia has been a regular soloist with orchestras in New Zealand, and recently played a concerto with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. She is Concertmaster of Orchestra Wellington and the violinist in the New Zealand Trio, and recently played a concerto with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra.

Amalia has won numerous overseas competitions and has played as a soloist with orchestras all around the world.

Amalia’s solo recital will include Bach’s magnificent Chaconne and Paganini’s famous final Caprice No. 24.
