The Festival gratefully acknowledges the generous financial investment it receives from its sponsorship partners. Their investment enables us to stage our programme for the whole community to enjoy and we simply couldn’t do it without this invaluable support.
We believe in partnership, not sponsorship. Our strategy is to nurture sustainable and truly collaborative partnerships with corporate sponsors, patrons and individuals.
We aim to make you feel part of our Festival family; as a supporter you will join a group of like-minded people who enjoy supporting the arts and are fortunate to be able to do so in such a personal and meaningful way.
Added to that we also offer additional benefits to maximize the investment to help your business leverage its support in a positive way.
Some of the key benefits UPSURGE can provide in exchange for your support include the following:
- Acknowledgement as a Sponsorship Partner of the UPSURGE Festival event alongside a select group of other local businesses.
- Sponsor signage at festival venues. As a festival sponsor, your logo is displayed at signage boards located in the foyer of all venues over the festival period.
- Personal invitation to special festival events including the UPSURGE Festival programme launch.
- E-newsletter with festival updates and preferential bookings.
- Logo placement in the UPSURGE Festival programmes distributed around the region to our database and in key outlets for visitors.
- Logo placement to accompany additional advertising features in selected national magazines and publications.
- Logo placement in generic and relevant newspaper advertising.
Where appropriate, events can be used as a platform for product promotion. - Opportunities for staff and client reward: complimentary and discounted tickets will be available as part of your sponsorship package. This is a great opportunity to host staff or key clients.
- Association with the Festival will help to foster a working relationship with the Bay is Islands Arts Festival Trust and associate sponsor companies.
Become an UPSURGE Festival Patron
The Bay of Islands Arts Festival Trust is run by a not for profit charitable trust and relies on donations from private individuals and businesses to create the planned programme for the whole community.
As a Patron you will:
- Receive invitation to attend the launch of the 2019 Festival programme.
- Be acknowledged on the Festival website, in the programme and on the sponsors boards during the Festival.
- Two complimentary tickets to attend UPSURGE Festival events.
- Receive updates on Festival progress.
The donation is fully tax-deductible and can be made in one payment of two annual payments or regular instalments via automatic payment.
